Ganze Info Van Flotte für LMZ – Mobile Makerspaces auf Rädern

Learn, try it out, do it yourself: For the Baden-Württemberg State Media Center (LMZ), we were able to launch an extraordinary project. As many as 8 specially equipped Info Vans became mobile makerspaces that bring technology and digital education directly to schools. The goal: to make modern technologies tangible for students. Practical, interactive and right in the middle of everyday school life. From 3D printing to laser cutters to mechatronics and embroidery modules, this creates mobile learning environments that inspire enthusiasm for technology. Our task was to create real experience spaces out of vehicles — functional, eye-catching and perfectly tailored to the educational mission.

The challenge

Redesign an entire vehicle fleet functionally and visually
Combine technology, workshop and learning space in a limited space
Develop consistent branding for interior and exterior design
Create mobile modules that can be used flexibly in class

The solution

Construction and expansion of 8 Marchi Drive Info vans as mobile makerspaces
Custom-made products with tailgates, lift and complete interior design including recording studio
Development of around 40 rollable learning modules for various technical stations
Preparation of all print data and full branding inside and outside for a strong overall appearance
